Fill out our 5-minute brief with the specs, assets, and direction. You control the creative call — we build to your spec and your press requirements.

We deliver print-ready files
We deliver print-ready files in 2–3 business days — correct dimensions, bleeds, color mode, and resolution. Each job includes a note of hours used.
STEP 04
You bill your client
Invoice at your rate, under your brand. The hours note gives you a clean number to bill against. The margin is yours.

Most shops bill design at $75–$100 per hour. Your Checkd subscription costs less per hour than you bill — so every hour your clients buy is margin in your pocket.

What shop owners ask us first.
How do I know what to bill my client?
Every delivered job comes with a simple note — “Trifold brochure — 2 hours.” Multiply by your shop’s design rate and invoice. You set the price; we just hand you the number to price against. Typical hours for the most requested jobs:

Estimates assume a complete brief with assets supplied. We confirm the hours on any larger job before starting, so you can quote your client with confidence.
What if I don’t know how a job should be designed?
You don’t need to. Our brief template walks you through it: what the piece is for, who it’s reaching, the client’s colors, fonts, and examples they like. You know your client — that’s all the brief requires. For template-based work like business cards and postcards, it’s even simpler: the template does most of the talking.
Can I split my hours across multiple clients?
Yes — that’s the point. Your hours are a shop-wide bucket. Spend 6 on one client’s catalog and 1 each on five quick jobs. We’ll send a heads-up as you approach your limit so you’re never surprised.
What happens if I go over my hours?
Additional hours are $50 each — buy exactly what you need, when you need it. Since you bill them out at your rate, overage hours are profitable too. And if you’re buying overage every month, upgrading a tier saves you money; we’ll tell you when that’s the case.
Do unused hours roll over?
Hours reset monthly — they’re capacity we reserve for your shop. We’ll send a reminder before month’s end if you have hours on the table, so you can get jobs in before they reset.
What if a file is wrong after it’s printed?
We revise every file until you and your client are happy — that’s unlimited. But nothing goes to press without your sign-off, and final proof approval before press is the shop’s responsibility. Once you and your client approve the proof, the file is approved. It’s the same standard you already hold your own customers to.
Who owns the files?
You do. Everything we produce belongs to your shop — final print files and native working files alike. If you ever leave, you take every file with you. Your clients’ artwork is never held hostage.
What about revisions?
Revisions are included — they simply draw from your hours like any other production time. A tight brief keeps revisions small; that’s exactly what our brief template is built to do.
What kind of work can I send?
Anything your press touches: business cards, flyers, brochures, postcards, signage, banners, menus, packaging, plus file fixes — repairing customer-supplied art, adding bleeds, converting color modes, vectorizing logos, and rebuilding files to fit your templates.
